When are games canceled due to heat?

by matt.gerling on June 16, 2016

Per the SLCAA Rule Book, Section 6.30: Precautionary measures should be taken when the heat index is between 95 and 105 degrees. Over 105 degree heat index indicates a significant danger level and will result in game cancelation. When the heat index is expected to reach 105° at game time, call the scheduled Home Association to confirm if the game will be played. Do NOT assume it is cancelled.
